Productive product launching can be a fun and exciting event. A little planning and a bit of cash is all you need–oh yes, and a good product. Here are 4 ways to make that event worthwhile, fun, and profitable.
1. Marketing
You should plan this while the product is in the final stages of development. Don’t wait until just before the launch date. Create some mystery and anticipation. The best way to plan your productive product launching is to make a timeline and have backup plans in place.
2. Hype
Your plan to create interest before the launch date should be a mix of press releases, mailings, and internet marketing plans. PPC advertising probably won’t do you much good at this point, so stick to press releases, blogs, and forum posts for advance anticipation.
3. Plan an Event
Profitable product launching can be a fun event with a party and activities that surround and involve the new product. You can get very creative with these launchings. For instance, if you are releasing a toy helicopter, you could have helicopter races for kids and adults, with the toys themselves for prizes.
4. Hold Interest
Once your productive product launching has been completed, maintain interest by holding demonstrations and smaller versions of the party. Go to malls, outdoor shopping centers when the weather permits, and attend charity functions with your product. You should make many long term plans like this to hold the interest in the product that you worked so hard to get in the first place.
