We have had Snowy, our newest rabbit addition, for two full weeks now. He was destined for either a soup pot or premature death of some form. Suckers that we are, we love having rabbits as pets, and could not say no.

We were concerned about his health and condition. He was missing large patches of fur under his chin and onto his chest, as well as around his tail. He was lethargic and his hind end was atrophied.

Keeping him separated from the rest of our animals was a priority. We weren’t sure if he was infected with a communicable disease, and all of our animals are extremely healthy.
