How To Start A Cleaning Business - Cleaning With Vinegar
FIRST WHAT IS VINEGAR? In layman’s terms, it’s a great cleaner,
environmentally friendly and easy on the wallet.
The word “vinegar” derives from the Old French vin aigre, meaning “sour
wine.” It’s hard to believe that this wonderful liquid was created by
accident over 10,000 years ago and is still used today. Quite amazing.
LISTED BELOW ARE GREAT WAYS TO UTILIZE THIS AMAZING LIQUID:
- Clean grout in your bathroom using a toothbrush that is dripping in
vinegar, put a little pressure on the dirty areas and the grime will
wash right away!
- A half-cup of vinegar added to a half gallon of plain old water makes a
great everyday cleaner for vinyl and linoleum floors.
- Great for removing decals, stickers or price tags.
A cloth soaked with vinegar sanitizes kitchen counters, stove and
bathroom surfaces. This is just as effective as antibacterial
products and does not promote resistant strains of bacteria like
commercial products can.
- Get rid of soap scum in your sinks by wiping them with pure vinegar.
This also cuts down on the amount of hard water stains that can build
up over the years.
- Use a spray bottle with water and vinegar in the bathroom to spray
down the walls, mat, shower curtain, etc. (even spray the poufs) it
keeps the mildew at bay and makes it easier to remove soap scum
when it’s time to clean the shower.
- If you find that the track of the shower door is clogged and the door
is stiff, bathe the track with full-strength vinegar to make it like
new. Let the vinegar sit in the track for a few minutes and then rinse
it out.
- You can use vinegar to clean the outside of your toilet and around the
base of the toilet to keep it fresh.
- Warning: never mix bleach and vinegar.
