Internet Marketing – Only 3% Do This

There’s this legendary study by Yale University that showed that only 3% of their students set specific and measurable goals for what they want to achieve in life. Twenty years later, the study showed that this 3% amassed a combined income that was three times bigger than the 97% that didn’t set goals.

Specific and measurable goals are extremely powerful in achieving whatever it is you want to achieve. Having a goal is better than having none. Most people don’t have goals because it seems ‘proud’ to set goals. Most end up spending their lives heading in many directions for the short-term but really going nowhere in the long-term. That’s why most people lead lives of mediocrity!

Whatever it is you are doing right now, if you want to stop dreaming about success and start actually achieving your dreams, then you need to start setting crystal clear goals. Make them specific. And make them measurable. Add a number to your goals. Add in a time frame to accomplish it.

If you don’t achieve your goals, it is not failure like others would like you to believe. More likely, you’d have been a success because you’d have 1) found one more method which doesn’t work, so you can strike it off your list and definitely 2) have tapped into more of your potential talents and mind power simply because you set a goal and went about working on it.

If there are only two things you take from this article, remember to set massive goals and take massive action. Those two are the fuel for achieving success.
